Following Kai's disappearance, Awen is not at her best, and neither is Nya… Jay doesn't remember her either, and seeing her adopted brother on the wrong side makes her even sadder and more useless.

Evil Au Ciner where she is an odd Infernal creature. She lacks horns and wings but makes up for the SPICE and tails. She is the sister of Dis in this AU and they both are daughters to Samael. Cinder was kicked out by Lilith (not their mother) when she took the previous woman's place at their father's side, because Cinder is terminally ill and Lilith said that would ruin such esteemed reputation of such a strong, respected family. Cinder lives in a volcano in some random realm now and people leave her alone unless they want her superior potions and medicines... If they can survive the treck down into Cinder's abode; an old cathedral eaten away by time and elements within the very heart of the volcano, her safe place.

Being an elemental means that the volcano responds to her most vile of emotions. Anger will make the surrounding place hotter, the lava glowing just a bit more intensely, and rage and hated will threaten to have the place blow up. Literally. Immune to lava, she likes to hide in the pool found by one of the walls, often sleeping in it.

Her personality can be between sarcasm, rudeness, seductive, and masochistic. She loves to piss people off, as well, play and mess with their minds. The only person she really is close with and kind to is Dis; the two are the most sister duo you have ever seen hehe

Her magic is blood magic-- using her own personal resource from her body and others to perform magic that is similar to Arcane in a sense, only more powerful and doesn't require wrath any outer influence.

Her clothing is literally embued with the element of fire, so resistant to burning, and emits a glow where you see it's the brightest among the cracks. Her flesh is the same as well, cracked along the limbs, back and abdomen where lava can be seen swirling in between the hair-thread cracks.

just some headcanons I wanted to share after rereading that daily lives of Elemental Masters post:

I've extrapolated that Shade being "a normal guy" to mean that he's somewhat boring once you look past the Elemental stuff. Probably eats something flavorless for breakfast everyday, works a boring but well paying office job like billing in a mid size company, that sorta stuff. Probably has a boring hobby too, like stamp collecting and reading novels about ships

We know that Cinder is related to Ash in some capacity, but I like to think that regardless of what that is, Cinder is probably part of the reason why Ash is hesitant to go all in on the Assassin family business. The kid is WAY too eager for that and as a possible successor, Ash doesn't wanna get him involved in such a violent profession. But then the Merge hits, Ash and most of the family dies, and Cinder is left with the Elemental Power of Smoke and joins the Wolf Clan to fulfill his dream of being a top assassin.

Gravis seems like the kind of guy to use Tai Chi. Not to fight, just to get in the right headspace for stuff.

Griffin definitely does pizza delivery or door-dash or something. Works multiple delivery jobs at the same time. Gotta keep up the grind in West Haven!

Thanks to his former Aeronautical job and some very smart investments, Karlof is quite wealthy. That comfortable nest egg is why he was able to follow his passion and become a teacher

Tox likes to offer a small drinks discount to Elemental Masters whenever they visit the Rockshot Club, just so they have a reason to visit and catch up. Except Paleman, he goes WAY too overboard with the drinks and wakes up in the alleyway dumpster the next afternoon

Neuro really used to enjoy chess and was close to becoming a grandmaster in his youth, but after gaining his Elemental Power he lost all passion for the game. Winning isn't fun when you can read your opponent's mind

Jacob secretly really enjoys signing things for fans of his, but because he is blind rarely anyone ever asks him. His signature is just indecipherable squiggles

Bolobo is often mistaken for Bigfoot by hikers and campers due to his hairy body and natural kinship with forest critters

Shade: Yeah he's pretty average once you actually get to know him hjgfdhgfdsgfds. Part of the reason he blends in so easily into the shadows is because he's literally not doing anything to draw attention to himself. I can totally see him being a stamp collector hgfdhgfdsfds. The flavorless breakfast is so brutal tho lmao (tho I imagine Obscuria would tease him relentlessly for it in the future)

Ash: Okay well when you phrase it like that, Cinder being like an overzealous apprentice (slash nephew?) to Ash in the assassin business is an incredibly appealing idea (and more easily lends to why Cinder is such a...brutal individual. lmao). Somehow this alone has made Cinder 75% more fascinating to me, thanks!

Gravis: I can see this, he's zen enough for it

Griffin: PIZZA BOY GRIFFIN (cue even more rivalry with Jay hkgfdghfds) Love him working odd jobs as a side to his athletic career

Karlof: YES (Karlof just also love being able to pas on his passions to the next generations <3)

Tox: Another hc I have for her is that she ALSO moonlights (or daylights?) as a tattoo artist and is the one to give Jesse his tattoo in the future asdfhjkjhgfds

Paleman: Him wracking up a tab with Tox is a hilarious image lmao (and I do hc them as having some kind of mixed-up history)

Neuro: Thus, he enjoys playing chess with Zane on weekends, due to Zane technically not having a 'mind' to read (and it's actually a decent challenge to do mental wits against a robot with a soul). Maybe he wears a pinch of Vengestone to dampen his powers in order to get back into chess again? Or just for other non-mind reading purposes

Jacob: hgfdsghfdsgfd nooo I imagine he learns the specific motion to at least make his initials, which is about as closest to a proper signature he'll get. I also imagine he exchanges autographs with Jesse and that's how they begin to become friends

Bolobo: I'm sure this one's gotta be canon to some degree lmao

Oscilla meaning: small figures, most commonly masks or faces, which were hung up as offerings to various deities, either for propitiation or expiation, and in connection with festivals and other ceremonies. Hmmm.... I mean, she does have a mask thing going on-

What a clever observation, well done! But there are double meanings for her name as well..

(just like Ninjago's writers, I too can come up with clever names….)

Frequency versus some of the other elements detailed below, contains minor flashing imagery and small spoilers about how the Tournament works.

Here's a visual on how Frequency could affect other elemental powers in the tournament... Smoke, Earth, and Water.

Cinder likes that her frequency can cause disorienting waves among his sea of smoke, It's like a well needed power boost without the need for the wolf masks.

Cole's Earth powers are thrown off balance in the fight, The frequency itself is targeting his mind, causing this misjudgment in his rock formations, building large structures of rock only to almost hit himself with it, Cole has a fair chance of winning or losing..

Water is able to bend and adapt to it's surroundings, Nya holds a very strong chance of winning due to her ability to be agile and one step ahead, though Oscilla's powers are strong, Nya would win.

Jay is an interesting case, Lightning is known for having a low frequency, their battle would be awesome, the frequency pulling the Lightning down to the ground/podium. Oscilla would run, Jay would pursue, Oscilla would use his Lightning and her frequency to lock him inside of a Lightning cage, the frequency power keeping the Lightning active. Jay would lose.

Ice handles frequency differently, causing internal cracking and chips, this means that Oscilla would have to rely on outsmarting the enemy. Zane would win with calculations and his speed..

Now let’s talk about Lloyd.. Master of Energy I presume? energy and frequency are directly proportional to each other in life.

Oscilla can seperate his energy attacks into shard like sand OR silk patterns, lessening the damage and even slowing it at times. Lloyd would not win the first fight, his powers are strong yet his mind is still distracted, which means that Oscilla will use that, causing anxiety and completing the challenge while he is distracted.

The second fight, Lloyd will overcome his doubts, he is determined to win and determined in himself. Using his powers so that she will focus on altering them.

Their fight would likely look similar to this from above, this is a universal look at Energy, Frequency, and vibrations simultaneously working together.

“The higher the frequency, the more energy, and the higher the amplitude, the more energy.” causing Lloyd’s energy to become stronger, (Like how his father Garmadon’s power fuels him…! “The fight is what fuels me!”) without the doubt and anxiety plaguing his mind, it quickly results in her failure. Lloyd wins.

I’ve only seen the first two episodes of dragons rising season two and so far Lloyd has collapsed from exhaustion, had panic attacks, and experienced a dissociative episode. Even the show knows this boy is traumatized beyond belief at this point.

Now for the (probably) final fucking rant tonight: Jay

We see that he's obviously part of Ras' dojo for the Tournament. And unlike the other Dragons Rising Jay minifigures that were really just there to mess with us and complete a minifigure collection, this one doesn't seem like it's a dupe figure. Mainly because it doesn't complete a collection like the others did.

So the question is how did he get on Ras' side? An alliance with the Administration and Ras? Unlikely. The Administration are filled with control freaks that would lose their motherfucking minds if they saw what Ras was doing.

So then what? Let's look back at Season 2 Part 1. We saw that Jay was really insecure about his power, not understanding why he had it, and more importantly, fearing that others would find out that he had it.

Now let's look at Ras and what he's done to multiple people. He takes advantages of their weaknesses and uses that to make them side with him. Sure, typically he targets those without elemental powers, but he is obviously not entirely against it, as we see he has Cinder. (Now how he got Cinder on his team is a completely different question, probably having to do with him targetting Cinder's physical weakness. As he can't really seem to fight that well without his powers or Shatterspin. And goes down really fast once a hit is delivered to him)

So, chances are, either before Season 2 Part 2 (and shown in a flashback) or at the beginning of Season 2 Part 2, Ras is going to find Jay, and, knowing that he has powers (whether from previous knowledge from working in Imperium or seeing Jay use his powers), will convince him that he will be safe with Ras and the Wolf Mask Warriors, and wouldn't have to feel the need to hide his powers. Rather, he can use them however and whenever he likes.

(Now how Jay may come about meeting Ras is also a different question. Maybe Jay accidentally let's his powers lose in the Administration, and while the members are trying to arrest him, he escapes. Or maybe he's just doing some patrol work, encounters Ras, and, since he already doesn't like his job, just leaves with no explanation to the members of the Administration, leaving them confused as to why one of their managers just vanished without a trace)
